Too Many Recipes

I've just returned from Nashville to see our newest grandson, Liam.  While I was there I made Meatloaf, Macaroni and Cheese with Ham, Enchiladas Suissas, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies, and Matt's Blondies (Adam doesn't like nuts in his blondies either!).  I was able to refer to this blog for recipes, but also realized that it is awkward now that there are so many recipes on it.

The first thing I did was to update the Recipe Index, which is on 2/6/13.  I hope you will refer to it to find the dates of the recipes...it does save some time.  I also have decided to compile a cookbook for my children and self-publish it.  I suspect that this will take some time, but I will include all of the recipes from the blog, which should simplify it somewhat.  Even though we are all tied at the wrist to our electronic devices, there is no substitute for an actual cookbook that you can spill things on in the kitchen.  Some of my favorites have pages that I have to pry open after all of these years.  And I can organize the recipes by type of dishes and have a real Index at the end.

I will continue to post recipes as I go along, because I continue to try new things and improve on old. And I'll let you know how the cookbook is coming.
